Ben is a Partner in the real estate department and is based in Gatwick. His team deals with all types of commercial real estate transactions, providing advice to owners, occupiers and lenders in connection with all types of commercial real estate including retail, industrial, offices and healthcare. Ben also advises on the disposal and acquisition of businesses by way of transfers of a going concern and he provides advice on the real estate elements of transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of shares. He has particular expertise in advising clients with large property portfolios and on landlord and tenant matters. Whether advising in relation to portfolios or a one off matter, Ben works with each client in the most effective way to meet their individual needs and objectives.Recent transactions include:1. Acting for an Investor / Developer in connection with the sale of two blocks of flats in Brighton for over £10m2. Acting for a national retailer in connection with their store in a city centre location, with a rent of over £1,300,000 per annum3. Acting for a global distribution company in the relocation and co location of its offices involving the acquisition of an office block in parts by way of complex pre-emption agreements4. Acting for a national charity in connection with the real estate aspects of acquiring another charity, involving documenting short term and long term occupational arrangements for over 40 properties
