“We heal the world, we heal ourselves.” – David Orr Taylor is the Senior Manager of Global Sustainability at AptarGroup, Inc. (Aptar) where she works in collaboration with cross-functional, cross-regional, and cross-segment influencers to deliver results on global sustainability strategy. Her work at Aptar includes robust strategy setting, sustainability reporting, communication, and supplier engagement. Taylor drives efforts within Aptar’s three strategic sustainability pillars and communicates results with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on current and prospective Aptar customers, investors, employees, and business leadership. In 2021, Taylor was listed as a GreenBiz '30 Under 30' honoree and named a 'Rising Star' by Plastics News. Taylor holds a Global Competent Boards Certification and Designation in Sustainability & ESG.Taylor attended Duke University's Nicholas School Environment and was a Nemergut Scholar and a member of the inaugural cohort of the Nicholas Scholars Program. She graduated with a concentration in Environmental Economics and Policy (Business & Environment Track), and a certificate in Environmental Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Taylor received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies (BA) from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previously, she worked as a College Adviser via The Carolina College Advising Corps, an AmeriCorps-affiliated program. The College Advising Corps works to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students who enter and complete higher education.
