About Richard Priddy
I have a passion for writing custom web applications, from the initial drafts of the technical requirements through to the final testing and deployment. I have worked with C# for seven years, initially working on ASP.NET web applications as a junior developer, then for the server-side API for bespoke HTML5 web applications as the technologies progressed. I have always been involved in the full development life-cycle and it has given me very good interpersonal and team work skills, as I have had to dig into the details of how our clients imagine their application to work, enabling me to see their vision take shape. My work at AMT Evolve has also provided me with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. During the development lifecycle, our client’s ideas evolve as they see their project take shape and as they do, I see it as my responsibility to know what knock-on effects could happen and solve any unforeseen bugs that may be introduced.I have experience in a wide range of technologies including:ASP.NET 4NHibernate 3.2LINQ to SQLEktron CMS400.NET 8.02SQL Server 2012StructureMapCode ContractsI test using:SpecFlowNUnitMoqSeleniumAll features are developed using SpecFlow/Gherkin and the UI is tested using Selenium WebDriver.I use numerous JavaScript libraries including:KnockoutjQueryjQuery UIJetBrains TeamCity 7 is used for continuous integration.In my spare time I enjoy cycling, badminton, board gaming, PC gaming and railway modelling.
