Priyanshi Mishra is a BBPSDW’20 l MBBS, LHMC’26 at Ehsaas for Humanity Foundation. Colleagues describe them as "Priyanshi Mishra volunteered as an Alumni Moderator for the Generation Global Online Community from September 2020 – July 2021, and then again in July 2022. Generation Global is the Tony Blair Institute’s global citizenship education programme. It enables young people to embrace the future, equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become active, global and open-minded citizens. Generation Global was established in 2009 and has worked in over 30 countries in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Europe and the Americas, teaching dialogue skills to teachers and students, and facilitating meaningful global encounters between young people aged 13 to 17. The volunteer online moderator position is offered to selected members of our alumni network who also go through a rigorous application process, training, and regular monitoring of their work. Priyanshi's main duties included: • Encouraging students to engage in meaningful dialogue with their peers across the world. • Assisting students to practice and improve their dialogue skills such as critical thinking, speaking from one’s personal perspective, questioning and reflection. • Assisting the Generation Global team in evaluating the quality of dialogue according to the criteria established by the programme. During this period Priyanshi has worked with people of diverse backgrounds and has demonstrated good skills in moderating difficult conversation. I would happily recommend Priyanshi as she has done good work for us, and I consider her to be a valuable member of our alumni network."
