Applied Research Center | Head Of Hydrogen Technologies Unit
CurrentI continue to do what I've done for a decade - serving as the bridge between world-class scientists, entrepreneurs, and the government. In practice, my work entails: * Establishing a robust industrial scaling and prototyping platform. * Cultivating strong collaborative relationships, both locally and internationally. * Growing and leading a dynamic team that facilitates groundbreaking achievements in hydrogen technology. The larger vision is to build a world-class Research Technical Organization (RTO) in Estonia, akin to esteemed national institutions like the GTS Institutes in Denmark, VTT in Finland, RISE in Sweden, and Fraunhofer in Germany. All these institutions are innovation hubs, facilitating the transformation of scientific discoveries and innovative ideas into market-ready solutions. 💡Why hydrogen? Hydrogen technology stands at the brink of becoming the fourth technological revolution, promising significant advancements in energy storage, industry modernization, and sustainable transportation. Estonia has a unique combination of world-class scientific potential, abundant renewable energy resources, and strong industrial companies.
