Respite Worker
CurrentAs a Respite Worker at Quinte Children's Treatment Center, I provide vital support to children diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). My role, which involves visiting the center once every second week for a day, focuses on developing individualized care plans, implementing engaging activities to promote social skills and emotional regulation, and collaborating with parents and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and effective support. I am passionate about advocating for the needs of these children and their families, raising awareness about FASD, and contributing to a nurturing environment that empowers every child to reach their full potential.
