Ahmad Primo is a Syrian fact-checker with an extensive experience in journalism since 2008. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Verify Media Platform, which is an independent and unbiased platform specialized in fact-checking established in Syria in early 2016 to counter the spread of mis/disinformation. Ahmad studied programming and web development in Syria, co-authored the book “Verify, Your Handbook for Verification Methods and Countering Disinformation in Clash Zones”, which was released in March 2022.
