I was invited to take part in a heavily overdue project of migrating the central information system. My role was to push forward the progress: development & system integration projects and people/process as well. I investigated in detail and prepared product specifications for developers and introduced agile kanban approach that united people from many different departments of the airline into a big family. It looked like a big IT project at first, but it really was a huge amount of positive stress, working with a lot of profiles (from pilots, crew, planners, dispatcher to external developers, DBAs and project managers from abroad). It was success at the end, also thanks to the management allowing us a dedicated war room in the company, giving us dedicated power users and trust.
