As an Associate in Research and Evaluation at the Pharo Foundation, I contribute to data-driven decision-making by supporting rigorous evaluation projects that promote sustainable development across Africa. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide impactful initiatives. My role involves ensuring research quality and delivering actionable insights that align with the foundation's mission to foster economic development and social transformation in the region. A significant achievement is that I helped set up a global monitoring framework (GMF) process monitoring system to track Pharo Foundation's projects in Somaliland, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Kenya.

My work at Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Africa focused on designing innovations to the Teaching at the Right Level methodology (locally known as Catch Up in Zambia), as well as assisting in the preparation and implementation of a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) to evaluate the impact of Catch Up on learning outcomes among primary school pupils in Zambia.

I worked in the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) program, a joint initiative by J-PAL and Pratham. Together with the TaRL Africa team, my work focused on summarizing and communicating results of a qualitative study investigating what causes teachers to change their teaching behaviour in Catch Up classrooms.
