CurrentSystem Maintenance and Monitoring:Oversee and monitor the daily operation of servers and networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Implement security protocols to protect the organization's data and systems from threats.Network Management:Manage and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.Ensure network connectivity for all users and systems, both on-site and remotely.Troubleshoot network-related issues.Software and Hardware Management:Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.Maintain and upgrade hardware components like servers, storage devices, and workstations.User Support and Training:Provide technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues.Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels.Train staff on new technologies, tools, and systems as needed.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.Document and update IT policies and procedures as technology evolves.Project Management:Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.Collaborate with other departments to assess IT needs and provide solutions.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for external support and equipment purchases.Technical Proficiency:Strong understanding of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, macOS).Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).Experience with virtualization technologies.Problem-Solving Abilities:Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.Ability to diagnose complex IT problems and implement effective solutions.Project Management:Experience in planning and executing IT projects within deadlines and budget.Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
