Responsibilities ranged from the elaboration and production of precise and fully coordinated interdisciplinary construction documentation; to BIM clash detection and provision of creative solutions or alternate installation approaches to achieve buildability. Acted as a qualified Architect to provide project’s value-engineering and as a liaison to US Government Client representatives and BL Harbert Intl.'s Architect of Record to identify and resolve design-concept vs. on-site constructability conflicts; providing alternative or improved detailing to archive constructability and maintaining the design architect’s intent. One of the most practiced Namibian architecture firms, with over 65-year practice history. Joined practice as an Architect, participated in all aspects of more than 17 projects working under experienced senior Architects until transition to Project Architect status. Collaborated on over 12 multi-million dollar projects in various capacities from Job Captain to Project Architect. I attained my registrations as a Licensed Architect under Namibian Council of Architect and Quantity Surveyors and as a Corporate Member of the Namibian Institute of Architect. This opened up the range of responsibilities I could now handle such as objectively categorizing and reporting on maintenance vs. defect items during defects liability inspections to evaluating and preparing project's completion certificates.

Harare, Zimbabwe

One of the most established firms in Zimbabwe with over 35 years successful practice history. Interned and attained my Bachelor’s and Masters of Architecture degree while working at Vengesayi Architects, under the mentorship of the highly skilled architect-couple principals. Spearheaded the creation and directing of the firm's visualization department by introducing rendering applications such as Lumion and Artlantis. Led the transition of the practice from use of 2D Drafting (AutoCAD) to 3D BIM (ArchiCAD); while also pioneering the use of 3D rendering and animations in the formulation of Client presentations. This lead to increased Client interest to practice’s architectural services, which contributed to our marketability and securing of numerous commissions. .Increased awareness of the company by designing a practice profile which collated over 30 years of architectural designs and launched the firm's first website. Also held role of IT Manager: applied past knowledge as computer technician to upgrade firm’s workstation and server infrastructure to match BIM direction.

Running computer maintenance and managing the sales department of small scale Computer Shop in Bulawayo City; after completing High School and awaiting University intake. Role involved dealing and solving in-shop and call-out computer related Client problems. During the couple of months working at Lee Computers I managed to implement various marketing and maintenance ideas such as designing and distributing marketing flyers and spearheading the introduction of maintenance agreement as a part of the computer sales package. This more than increased walk-in customers by over 250% and opened up over double the number of returning clients after having set-up the maintenance services agreement.

Bulawayo Province, Zimbabwe

After writing mid-terms with both my own class and my senior's class and being awarded the Building and Technical Drawing year prices for both classes, I then wrote and passed the National High School Advanced Levels with my senior class. This freed me up to receive a personal invitation from my former High School Principal to come in and take some classes as a relief Building and Technical Graphics Teacher, while waiting for next University intake. After the first month, the school Principal at seeing my dedication and patience in teaching my classes, requested me to take on another subject: Introduction to Computers classes. This subject included 30 regular school enrolled students and a night school classe with 8 adults.This was a great opportunity to give back to the school and community which had invested so much in my own development.
