2024 Teach for America Corps Member and M.S. candidate at John’s Hopkins University. Graduate of Virginia Tech studying International Relations and Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology with a minor in Chinese and Public Policy. He is currently an international development intern for UFONDWA, Haiti's only rural university, as their first collegiate intern supporting their development goals. He also holds an Americorps position, supporting immigrants and refugees in the New River Valley and working on resource accessibility. He formerly worked for the Asian Cultural Engagement Center at Virginia Tech, one of the six cultural community centers as a programming assistant. On campus, he is serving as the senior advisor working on Virginia Tech's inaugural high school Model United Nations conference and also as an Executive Member of Closing the Gap, which was the student organization of the year in 2022. He has previously represented Virginia Tech as the Class President of 2023, Co-President of Model United Nations, and Service Chair of Chinese American Society, amongst other roles. Past events and involvements include being a winner of the Tech Together Grant to combat COVID-19 on campus, attending the annual ACC Leadership Symposium in 2020 at the University of Louisville, and interning for former presidential candidate Andrew Yang during his mayoral campaign.
