Growing up, I never dreamed about owning a Ferrari. I had my sights set on something much more pedestrian: a red MINI Cooper, so much so that I went online to order one when I was 3 years old. At that point, I could barely see over the keyboard, yet one thing was for certain—I was already obsessed with cars. This passion never fizzled out, and it continues to motivate me as I pursue my Master of Science degree in Operations Research, at Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science.My prior experience includes data reporting and competitive analysis at BMW of North America and Porsche Cars North America, as well as developing business strategy at Voltpost and expanding operations at Lectrium, both electric vehicle charging startups. I have also founded an automotive brokering service called PJ’s Car Bonanza, saving dozens of clients across the United States thousands of dollars off of their new car. Going forward, I am seeking a career in product or strategy, whether at a major OEM or fast-growing new player on the market.
