With over 35 years of packaging and print industry experience at Printwell UK Ltd and the world renown British packaging company GRAYS. I have been driven by a determination to help brands connect and finding solutions to help our environment . As a result, this has ensured a return on client investment and delivery of cost saving, through implementing changes which relate to the environment, service and quality, leading for others in the industry to follow. Being part of the DMA , DSA and CTA, all great British institutions caring for companies, people and most of all the environment.From an environmental perspective: Being one of the first printers in the UK to achieve chemical less plates, all of our paper wastage is recycled and we only use ink made from vegetables, we now only use bio degradable lamination, all our packaging is made of recycled paper and all our suppliers and their equipment needs to meet the Groups strict environmental guidelines regards to recycle and the environment . Also early 2021 we will be carbon balanced as a group and then also look offering our client and their print and packaging to be carbon balanced also.We invest heavily in the development and training of internal colleagues, but also nurture young talent through apprenticeship schemes across different departments, including digital printing, prototype engineering - design and administration roles. Each individuals’ determination is reflected in their achievements; for example, one was a runner up in the national apprenticeship award and another has achieved their degree in print management and packaging.I have built on my experience by being an established founder of over five international print packaging and technology organisations who work with world renowned brands and charities, including Save the Children World Wildlife Foundation, Google, Microsoft and many more.Outside of my profession, I support local charities whereby I have a strong passion for engaging in community work. For example I am the Secretary of Anjuman-e-Zainee, a Dawoodi Bohra organisation, which has helped to meet my social expectations and personal beliefs. I also partake in many personal charity events, where by my greatest achievement was raising money for charity by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, whilst overcoming my fear of heights!
