With over 14+ years of experience as an ABMGG Board Certified Clinical Molecular Geneticist, my areas of expertise and proficiency have spanned NIPT and Carrier Screening to Hereditary Cancer Testing across a range of platforms and technologies, including next generation sequencing (NGS). Noteworthy is my unique experience in spearheading the development of a microarray hybridization-based NIPT lab, starting from the ground up. This leadership role resulted in the establishment of a highly efficient and high-throughput production workflow. My commitment extends beyond routine tasks to continuous assay improvement and troubleshooting, aimed at optimizing laboratory efficiency and reducing failure rates while improving turnaround time.
