I am Priscila Vargas Cruz.I believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or education. That's why I'm passionate about breaking down barriers and creating more opportunities for underrepresented groups in tech. I come from an immigrant parent household. My parents worked tirelessly throughout my childhood to give me a life different than theirs in their country, Mexico. I want them to know that their hard work paid off. In addition, I’m extremely passionate about women in leadership positions. There has been nothing more influential to me than seeing other women write their own stories and take ownership of their professional careers. In a world predominantly dominated by men, it is truly inspiring to witness a woman make her own way and break down barriers. Just as others have served as a source of inspiration for me, I am driven to be that guiding light for other young women of color throughout my career. I aspire to do this by empowering them to forge their own paths, define their own success stories, and make a lasting impact in their chosen fields.
