Grupo Dass is one of the biggest footwear industries in Brazil, for sportive and performance products. And in this position, I had 2 main responsibilities as an Accessories Designer and also as a Product Analyst (Footwear), assisting the Product Manager of the brand.• Designing accessories focused on sportive and performance references such as backpacks, bags and socks, and ensure color & material palette in infused with footwear collection inspirations.• Strong cross-functional partnership with Footwear Design Team (South of Brazil), to provide input on products and built great synergy between all categories of the collection.• Elaborating spec sheet in English, for prototyping in China. Constant interaction with the chinese office of the company, international and national suppliers.• Conduct in-depth portfolio analysis and recommend new opportunities for optimization• Conducting design guidance of the products on brand repositioning, promoting a Workshop for Product Philosophy and resulting in 3 Product Identities inspired by human energies (High Performance, Soft Training, Casual) to assure new strategies of the brand.• Presentation on the Sales Convention, and organization of fashion show and showroom.

• Responsible for product design and development of more than 20 accessories collections, of backpacks, bags, travel bags, cases, for different Licensed Brands of the company as Everlast, Bad Boy, Bad Girl, O'Neill, Tiny Toon, Doc Dog, Restart Band.• Creating and concept design of the shapes, new patterns and colour palettes, tech sheet (in English), materials specifications, development documentation, testing product fit and ergonomic aspects.• Constantly interaction and communication with Chinese suppliers and trade offices to track development progress.• International experience on a business trip for China and Hong Kong:- Supplier prospecting at Canton Fair (Guangzhou):- Visiting more than 15 accessories factories (at Quanzhou, Huadu and Dongguan);- Prototyping products of the collections directly with Chinese suppliers, addressing construction and manufacturing issues, managing costs, deadline negotiation, making sure to have great quality.- A better understanding of cultural differences from Asia and able to solve cultural challenges.• Frequent participation on industry fairs: COUROMODA, FIT, FRANCAL, Office Paper School Fair. • Participation on the first O'Neill Sales Convention in Brazil: Responsible for Product Presentation, showing all details of the accessories collection for sales and marketing teams.• Qualified for Tax Classification for imported products made of textiles for Brazilian tax regulations.
