I'm a linguist (M.A.) working with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and Automatic Speech Recognition.Since 2021, I have been the senior linguist at an Automatic Speech Recognition project where my main responsabilities are preparing train and test data, performing error analysis and determining potential solutions, as well as writing RegEx rules for text normalization. For this, I use Shell oneliners, Python scripting and Java.From 2018 to 2021, I have worked in a Natural Language Generation project, localizing and creating content for a virtual assistant, where I led a team of technical translators. I was also in charge of writing localization guidelines and of adapting the virtual assistant`s persona and its linguistic choices to the Brazilian context.From 2017 to 2018, I have worked on a grammar checker project. In this project, I was in charge of creating the scope of and writing linguistic rules as well as developing the test cases for the application. During this time, I also worked as a technical translator, localizing material mostly from Informatics domain on a freelance basis. I also have experience in Interpreting, mostly back and forth from German and Portuguese.
