[ENGLISH]Priscila is a journalist passionate about travel, culture, and the environment. Currently, Priscila works as a reporter at Observatório do Clima, focusing on climate change reporting. She has covered the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2020 and 2022 elections in Brazil as a fact-checker. As a co-founder of Mural, a journalism agency about the suburbs of São Paulo, she has been at the forefront of local storytelling. Priscila is also the author of the graphic novel Minas da Várzea, which explores the world of women's football, and co-author of the book Unbias the News: Why Diversity Matters for Journalism.In 2021, Priscila was awarded for the graphic novel Covid-19 vs. Favelas - What the Peripheries Can Teach About Strategies to Combat the Pandemic. She received another accolade 2015 for her university report Silenced: Violence Against Journalists in Brazil. Additionally, she helped determine the shortlist for the 2022 Roche Health Journalism Awards in the sound and digital categories.Priscila has conducted workshops on solutions journalism, invited by different organizations, such as the Gabo Foundation, SJN (Solutions Journalism Network), Reuters, and, ICFJ (International Center For Journalists).
