I started my career with Aristocrat in 2001(then CDS) with what honestly is average knowledge of casino auditing by Nevada standards. I had not even worked with the Oasis system. But in 2001 casinos were spreading like wildfire across the US and my average knowledge was more than what a lot of other people had. I quickly fell in love with the Oasis system and how much easier it was to use than the systems I had used, and it allowed me to quickly expand my overall knowledge of casino auditing and operations. I began installing Oasis and working with the audit staff. I've always had the drive to understand my job at a deep level and I have a need to feel that any customers I am responsible for feel that they are satisfied. After years of travelling to customer sites to install and train customers on how to perform casino audits using Oasis, I transferred to Aristocrat's Technical Training department. I wrote the first student and instructor guidebooks for the Slot Accounting workshop class. That was a major accomplishment for me as I felt passionate about the need for written course documentation, and coursework that was interactive and engaging. Good slot machine auditing is the cornerstone for machine performance analysis, but is usually overlooked. I taught that and other classes for a year before being asked if I would be interested in transferring to R&D. I transferred to Quality Assurance as the lead tester for the slot accounting application and remained in that role for almost 10 years. In April of 2017 when my QA role was being transitioned off shore, I transferred to Tech Support. So again I find myself working with the customers that are using the Oasis slot accounting applications, but from a different perspective. Aristocrat has challenged me at every level of my career and has provided me with some amazing opportunities. I look forward to each day to see what new bits of knowledge I will acquire.
