I am a current sophomore studying Electrical Engineering with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Notre Dame University. Since high school I have been fascinated by autonomous robotics and social justice. And I have been blessed to get to pursue them through such a wide range of opportunities. In high school I qualified for the World Championships in the Vex Robotics Competition 3 times in a row. And subsequently I have done research on bio-inspired robotic gaits in the ND MiniRo Lab with Dr. Ozkan-Aydin, developed driver code for the University Mars Rover Challenge in the Domer Rover club, and interned at the ND Center for Research Computing to develop search and rescue robots automated by LLMS.I initially became invested in social justice while volunteering for Africans Family and Community Outreach, a local refugee resettlement organization, in high school. Since then I have spent a summer in West Virginia conducting research on grassroot activist movements with the NDBridge program, and joined the McNeil Common Good Fellows, a part of the Center for Social Concern that seeks to explore living justly in a larger society.
