As a board member for Making Change, my role involves assisting the program director with grant writing to secure funding for our initiatives. I also contribute by helping with event set up, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, I actively participate in attending events with my colleagues to promote education and raise awareness on issues surrounding anti-Black racism. By being actively involved in these various aspects of the organization, I am able to make a meaningful impact and contribute to creating positive change in our community.
