Over the last three years, I had to take a break from pursuing my career to address certain personal and family responsibilities—from August 2020 to March 2021, I was very much needed to provide crucial support to family and friends. I also used this time to explore several entrepreneurial opportunities and so from March 2021 to the present, I have been actively involved in entrepreneurship, aiding the growth and development of our family business.

Responded to customer inquiries and escalated issues according to defined processes and procedures relating to Amgen’s HR system – Workday. Assigned and managed HR system security roles. Analyzed HR system functionality, identified gaps, and supported the configuration of HR system to meet business goals. Generated reports and performed audits on transactional work and other processes. Performed transactional work in Workday using mass upload tool and corrected data discrepancies. Contributed to knowledge sharing within the team and trained the call center representatives on HR system.

Translated all personnel changes across the enterprise into the HRIS system to ensure it accurately portrayed department structure, compensation, and employee profiles. This included maintaining the global organizational hierarchy and position management data. Supported integrations between the HRIS and other company systems. Performed tests to support global and local configurations, enhancements and upgrades. Handled ongoing maintenance. Supported bulk uploads of HR data. Dual role of financial analyst and executive assistant. Reviewed cross charges involving employee training to ensure accuracy in the charges to owners against their learning and development budget.
