My top 5 capacities: Striving for excellence- Always trying to be the best version of myself. I do everything in my own best interest, especially when it comes to school and work. Demonstrating Citizenship- You demonstrate citizenship by being or doing things to better the community. This goes along with my history of volunteering at the Veteran's Administration Hospital and The Humaine Society. Through volunteering, I learned accountability and responsibility, as well as become a productive member of society. Capitalizing on differences- I grew up with military parents. Living on different bases, it was a very diverse environment. I never thought differently of anyone around me. I have brought this into my adult life, and I see others as important and value their perspectives. Assessing the Environment- To be successful in my endeavors, I must learn to navigate through the many different personalities and backgrounds out there. I need to be aware of what is acceptable and what is not and be true to myself. Coaching others- The ability to work with others efficiently. This is important when it comes to my college courses. I find working in groups is much easier and beneficial when we all work together for a common goal.
