Hello! I have an interesting background, having started my career in Education and Coaching right out of college. For 10 years, my passion was teaching and coaching high school students. I was a head coach of Cross-Country and Track for the last 7 years of my coaching career in a local DFW School District. This was a very rewarding career for me; having the opportunity to impact many students into becoming the best they could be in the classroom or as an athlete. I decided after 10 years, to transition into Corporate World. I fell into recruiting and enjoyed the people aspect of this role and the competitive nature of filling positions for my clients. My competitive nature is one of my strengths that brought me success as a college athlete, a head coach, and in my current role as a Talent Acquisition Manager. With my current organization, I have gone from HR Recruiter over corporate office positions to IT Recruiter, to Talent Acquisition Manager managing a team of 5 Talent Acquisition Specialists and a Talent Acquisition coordinator. My focus in this role has been to develop/improve our TA Processes, Improve Time to fill of our roles, serve as mentor/leader to my team, and bring awareness of our organization within the community. As a manager, I keep our leadership informed by providing weekly performance updates in our leadership meetings. As we continue to grow, I look forward to learning and developing new ways to keep up with the direction of the newest technologies in Talent Acquisition to better serve my teams and Mouser.
