- Supervise 10-35+ direct reports of DHL Supply Chain, Lam Research facility, leading the Backorders Department tasked with rapid shipments of semiconductor components- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert of Ocean Container Shipment Project for flawless transfer of warehouse inventory. This includes: supervising and leading all processes within the project, communicating and scheduling with external freight forwarders, providing accurate inventory information, and delegating miscellaneous tasks requested by the customer or management team- Daily plan all associate workload, labor distribution, and task hourly labor assignments- Handle and resolve all escalations from direct reports and customers. This includes: providing updates, explaining in-depth processes, addressing and responding to business and/or personal concerns- Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and associate’s information such as personal accommodations and time clocks- Assist upper management team by mitigating and reporting daily numbers and address issues within the supply chain process- Compose and proofread 5 published standardized work instructions consisting of 30+ pages- Facilitate DHL standardized processes by training and ensuring accountability between associates and official work instructions- Order and maintain stock of warehouse supplies, such as pallets, office supplies, and work tools- Collaborate with internal departments to understand and prevent escalations- Utilize Root Cause Analysis and 5-Whys strategy to identify root causes of faults and problem areas- Withhold and promote safety culture to guarantee compliance to OSHA standards- Implement 5S Lean Six Sigma concepts to ensure thorough workplace organization and more...
