I am an experienced senior executive, award-winning change-maker, and human rights advocate with a passion for social justice and self-advocacy. I have 2 decades of experience managing social change projects, most recently in the mental health sector as CEO of two consumer peak bodies, first BEING Mental Health Consumers in NSW, followed by the National Mental Health Consumer Alliance.Prior to that, as the Founder & Managing Director of All Together Now, I led award-winning advocacy campaigns to champion racial equity and educate Australians about interpersonal and systemic forms of racism, in partnership with organisations like The Body Shop, Val Morgan, Google, and BMW. I've also volunteered at several organisations including Asylum Seekers Resource Centre, and Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning.I have been a Non-Executive Director / Board Member at the Mental Health Coordinating Council, All Together Now, and the Web Industry Professionals Association, and am a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).I am a Churchill Fellow and hold a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) specialising in Social Impact.I also have a life outside work! I enjoy earl grey tea, gardening, and making and mending my own clothes.
