She works primarily in mixed media - inks and acrylics - on Mylar and paper, and is especially interested in how art can enrich public spaces and the workplace. The organic imagery in her work is similar to what's found in nature. No straight lines here: Paints and inks flow unpredictably across surfaces. Color, sometimes iridescent, intensifies arbitrarily where paper buckles from dampness or paint coalesces on a slick plastic surface like Mylar. When a piece succeeds, it conveys the joy and grace of life. Her work invites the viewer into its own world, to engage actively with what they see.
