I am recent graduate of the University of Minnesota. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Geography with a minor in Political Science, and concentrated in Political Economy and Environmental Change with a regional focus in Africa.I have a passion for human rights and equality. This passion has driven me to follow my goals and led me to a career where I can make difference in my community and the world. I work in the human rights field and have specific experience working on issues of gender equality.I have done work campaigning for local, state, and national legislation and actions. I have also contributed to efforts to strengthen the US's commitment to human rights internationally.While I am interested in international relations and human rights as a whole, I have particular interests in women's rights, humanitarianism, global institutions, and water accessibility.
