Priscilla A. Asante is a business leader and an entrepreneur with a strong interest in the Agri-business sector and passionate about living a life of impact. The Founder / CEO of Rosswood Ltd and a co-founder of Pricelessmom Foundation, she is an alumna of the US Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)’s FemPower Africa Alumna. Priscilla founded Rosswood in 2015 when her daughter had intestinal infection and doctors told her to get her probiotics, out of that adversity birthed OneYogo, a yoghurt brand and one of the industry leaders in Ghana. Over the years Rosswood has added Rosswood Premium Snacks to its brands, adding value and nourishing communities with cashew nuts in various innovative ways. As a firm believer in empowering women and young adults, she is currently working with 286 small hold farmers of mostly women. Her passion for healthy living also led her to collaborate with four hospitals in Accra and Nsawam to set up diabetic clinics, helping to educate diabetics on healthy eating and providing various healthy yoghurt recipes. Working alongside a vibrant team of 25 empowered women and young adults who share her vision of making Ghanaian made snacks competitive internationally and building Rosswood to a Global Brand. In addition to leading the business, she is actively involved in various initiatives that promotes entrepreneurship and empowering women farmers in the cashew sector. She has a Master of Arts (MA) in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana Business School, Bachelor (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Greenwich UK, student member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement UK and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Procurement from the Accra Technical University.She has undergone training in Export and International Trade in Ghana and in the Netherlands by the Dutch Export Academy, Kaizen training in Japan by JICA, participated in National and International Trade shows to exhibit and sell her products. Priscilla is also Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).When Priscilla is not working she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with family and friends.
