I am a social development specialist with a profound passion for International Development Cooperation and a wealth of knowledge and experience of locally led development in Africa. In my past roles, I have left an indelible mark on numerous projects and initiatives, showcasing my expertise in Participatory Evaluation, Capacity Building, Facilitating peer to peer learning, and Project Management across thematic areas with specialization on Gender, Education, Social Protection and Human rights. My career in development consulting has been marked by remarkable contributions with experience conducting impact assessments for local & international nonprofits, bilateral organizations, UN bodies in the Sub-Saharan Africa region including Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan in addition to supporting Global Projects. I am a seasoned evaluator with rich experience working with often marginalized communities, government, local, national, regional and international organizations using both face to face and remote approaches. In my past and present projects, I have worked with leading institutional organizations and philanthropic foundations including FCDO, USAID, USG, SIDA, UNICEF, UNHCR, ILO, and Porticus Africa. I hold a MA in International Relations & Development Studies coupled with other certifications in Program Management & Gender Responsive Programming, Monitoring & Evaluation, Ethical Research and Safeguarding of vulnerable persons including children, people with disabilities, women and refugees.
