Mined social media for compelling characters and secured bookings that significantly advanced stories. Shoot video using the Sony Fs7 and A7s. Pitch ideas for hourlong special reports.

Covered general assignment and breaking news across the Grand Strand. Pitched, shot, and edited at least one story and two VO/SOT’s as a one-woman band reporter daily. Fronted VO/SOTs and package live for the 5pm and 6pm newscasts. Stories include a look at how massive flooding following Hurricane Matthew traumatized children who were forced to evacuate their homes and a World War II veteran’s fight to save his home, after being locked out by his landlord.

As multimedia producer, produced, shot, and edited, six videos profiling teachers, including a day in the life of a high school math tutor. Launched new verticals for recruitment website, wrote for district homepage and managed social media accounts, live-tweeted during events.
