Hello! My name is Pristine Onuoha. I am a second-year biology major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In the future, I would love to work as a biomedical researcher. My specific research interests include regenerative biology and genetics. I am keen to utilize an understanding of these biological areas to improve our understanding of cellular processes like aging and cancer as well as research and develop new medical treatments to target those processes. In addition, with the rapid growth of the space exploration sector, I am highly interested in conducting space biology research in the future to help us understand how spaceflight affects the human body and to explore how that understanding can be applied in beneficial ways to medicine on Earth!
