Leading a cross functional organization including product, software engineering, science/machine learning and data engineering. We build Amazon Ads' attribution and performance measurement products and associated infrastructure systems. Our work includes defining, creating and implementing deterministic and modeled attribution algorithms that operate in privacy-safe cookie-less environments across Amazon O&O and 3P supply.

Building and scaling Amazon Ads' third-party partner program globally. I lead cross-functional teams (science/ML, product, engineering and program management) building products used by thousands of Amazon Ads partners worldwide. They include various analytics tools and APIs offering advertising and e-commerce insights, as well as incentives and business programs to help our partners meet customer needs and grow their businesses via the Amazon Ads Partner Network.

Founded a new cross-functional global initiative/team within Amazon Ads building tools for third-party partners (agencies and technology providers) to help advertisers (sellers, brands, authors, content creators) grow their businesses worldwide.

Led a 50+ person engineering group that managed Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP)'s worldwide services. Independent authors use KDP to publish eBooks and print-on-demand paperbacks for global sale on Amazon's marketplaces and Kindle Stores in North America, Japan, India, Europe, Australia and Brazil; and for distribution via subscription programs like Amazon Prime Reading and Kindle Unlimited. In addition to content and metadata ingestion and conversion, KDP also provides analytics/reporting tools to track reading volume, eBook and print sales/royalties along with promotional and merchandising features (price promotions, free giveaways, book advertising, pre-orders) that enable independent authors to reach millions of Kindle readers and Amazon print customers worldwide.

Led a team building tools to help indie authors publish their work on Kindle and in paperback. Also led annual strategic planning for Amazon Indie Publishing and led integration of CreateSpace (print-on demand independent publishing service) with Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) that involved migrating millions of books, hundreds of thousands of publishers/authors to the KDP service. Also founded and grew two new teams to 1) launch a new Indie Manga offering in Japan and 2) build marketing and promotional tools to help authors reach new print and eBook customers.

Working backwards from our customers, conceptualized and delivered a number of complex feature and product initiatives that improved reading customer experience, author/publisher experience and helped scale product/tech operations for Amazon's Independent Publishing offering - enabling millions of worldwide authors and publishers to create books for Kindle and in print.

Led product management as a member of the executive leadership team for this venture-backed startup. We built an online marketplace for music instruction that helped connect students with instructors for live, in-browser, video lessons.

Venture-backed music technology startup. Led product strategy, development and launched V1 of iOS, Mac and Windows-based consumer music applications. Helped raise VC funding rounds and managed VC/investor presentations on product strategy/product-market fit.

Managed a regional team consulting CPG and financial services clients (including L’Oreal, Heinz, MasterCard, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Beiersdorf) on digital strategy, media planning and investments. Led planning and strategy for CPG and financial services verticals for the Middle East and North Africa.
