• Managed a team of 12 Business Developers growing Kaplan’s SAT & ACT business in the Mid-Atlantic and then the entire East as part of a division achieving 3 consecutive years of growth in operating Income.• Trained my team to become subject matter experts not merely salespeople preparing them to present to school customers as fellow educators• Drove effort to re-position stagnant product in 1) its name, 2) its price, and 3) its value proposition leading to 42% growth in the subsequent 12 months and over $1MM in new revenue• Built national market structure hierarchy to re-align concepts of Territory, Region, and Market with current management team, providing individual accountability of team members and more intuitive nomenclature for various geographies covering all 40,000 zip codes in US.• Created Pioneer Generator tool to synthesize historical enrollment data, existing inventory, and available facilities, resulting in more-data driven classroom inventory saving my team approximately 50 hours of work. • Drove sales resulting in 17% growth in 2011 in tutoring sales for the DC region by implementing a new outbound call sales process that improved team performance including those with over 5 years of experience • Led a team of 9 direct reports consisting of 5 Inside Salespeople and 4 Faculty Managers responsible for recruiting, hiring, staffing, and ongoing quality for over 300 Kaplan instructors throughout the Mid-Atlantic helping students prepare for the PSAT, SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, AP Tests, SSAT, ISEE, and school examinations.• Led Philadelphia and DC regions to a 15% increase in % of SAT & ACT tutoring students who’d “Completely” recommend Kaplan to their friends during the time working with both regions in 2011• Innovated new academic operations that were later adopted nationwide including 1) redesigning how tutors report on completed lessons so this information could be searched in a database, 2) collaborating on migrating instructor training to a new web-based format

• Managed academic operations including recruiting, training, performance management, scheduling, classroom operations, and tutoring sales for graduate admissions exams. With a faculty of about 40 instructors, serviced students' preparation for SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, DAT, PCAT, and NCLEX.• Recruited and managed tutoring faculty enabling a 94% increase in tutoring revenue
