Bob “Pritch” Pritchard, APR, Fellow PRSA, Captain, U.S. Navy (Retired)A member of the public relations faculty in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma, Pritch has more than 25 years of experience as a public affairs officer in the U.S. Navy and more than 20 years of experience as a public relations educator.Pritch completed a 27-year naval career as the director of public relations for the United States European Command in Stuttgart, Germany, his third consecutive Unified Command public relations position. In the span of those three assignments, he managed all U.S. military public relations activity in 73 countries, territories and possessions in the Pacific, 91 countries in Africa, Europe and the Middle East and for the Nation’s strategic forces. In addition to his current teaching duties, he serves as the Faculty Adviser for the Stewart Harral Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter and for Lindsey + Asp, the student-operated advertising and public relations agency in Gaylord College. Pritch is a member of the PRSA College of Fellows and was on the PRSA National Board fro, 2018 - 2020. He also served as the PRSSA 2011-2015 National Faculty Adviser.In 2013, he was selected as the PRSA Outstanding Educator.
