At present, I am working as Head of Mechatronics and Electrification at DANA. During my 17 years of assignments with OEMs and suppliers, I have successfully handled projects involving product conceptualization, analysis and development to their series realization and supporting their applications in field. While working on these projects, I could gain hands-on experience and expertise in development of mechatronic systems used in conventional and hybrid & electric vehicles. The technology domains involved powertrains with manual and automated transmissions technologies, chassis technologies and battery packs. Further, I could develop competencies for innovation management, design thinking, preparing business proposals, vehicle engineering & integration, building and testing functional prototypes, conducting product customer clinics. I consistently work to update my skills with new technology domains. At present, I am mentoring projects for connected and autonomous vehicle technologies, DevOps and CI/CD.With my sound engineering fundamentals, automotive domain knowledge and quick learning abilities, I continue to confidently develop new skills and translate my capabilities to successfully handle new challenges. I have successfully handled roles with increasing responsibilities for mentoring and nurturing teams, resource planning and recruitment, working with global cross functional teams and customers, interacting with regulatory and industry bodies, suppliers and academia, program management, innovation management.Using my leadership skills, business acumen and collaborative working skills, I can confidently set-up new functional areas, develop and execute organizational strategies, develop innovation culture in teams and motivate them to create innovative ideas to meet current and further needs. I can manage projects and teams using a balanced approach of a start-up culture and proven methods from existing organizational processes and help organizations achieve their targets.
