The Pfizer WRD Application support & Maintenance project involves the support and maintenance of many IT applications spanning across 8 Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) and playing a vital role in supporting the functions of the various business units involved in the Pharmaceuticals Clinical Trail Operations and Pharmacovigilance Lifecycle within Pfizer’s Global R&D (PGRD) division.This project involves technical support for OC/RDC applications on the production database. It involves level-3 support to client for identification and resolution of the bugs in the OC/RDC applications, System Testing and Regression Testing for the OC/RDC application (4.5.3) after the enhancements, patches & bug fixes and SR creation, monitoring and implementation of the solutions provided by Oracle. It also involves change management for custom applications integrated within OC, customizing the OC/RDC applications as per the business requirements and various performances monitoring of the OC/RDC applications, the databases and the servers.Contribution to the Project• Onsite – Offshore team co-ordination• Extensive Client Interfacing, Problem Management & Root Cause Analysis• Providing level 3 support for the OC/RDC and ARGUS applications to the client• Middle tier admin for OC, RDC and TMS applications. • Provided application support for oracle clinical and remote data capture.
