• Thermal design of feed water as per HEI.• Surge analysis for cross country pipeline: Performed transient analysis of cross country pipeline. Studied the effect of upsurge and down surge during pump trip operation and proposed surge protection device at certain locations to pipe failure due to uncertain surge. • Multi-phase flow analysis: Designed Boiler Back End Duct (BBED) along with ESP such that flue gas flow and ash particle imbalance within ±3% is achieved. Ash particle is simulated considering DPM model of Ansys FLUENT. Ash particle distribution across ESPs is very important to improve its performance. • Optimized gas distribution through CFD: Performed 3D steady state CFD analysis for Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) and proposed modification to ensure uniform velocity distribution across each heat exchanger.

• Feasibility study using CFD: Performed feasibility study for the installation of GTG and oil water treatment skid on wellhead platform.• Pressure drop prediction using CFD: Carried out 3D steady state flow analysis of flue gas across Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) to ensure uniform flow distribution through each gas passages as per ICAC-EP-7 standard and to calculate pressure drop across it.• Transient fluid flow analysis: Optimized the Cooling Water intake system layout by performing CFD analysis which leads to significant saving in terms of cost and time. • Witnessed sump model prototype test: witnessed various sump model test, and validated CFD results with experimental results. • 2D axisymmetric fluid flow analysis: Performed 2D axisymmetric CFD analysis for flue gas pipe line and optimized the size of the high-pressure buffer tank which has helped in reducing the cost.
