An ordinary person with an extraordinary vision. I realised fairly quickly that in order to do something extraordinary I needed to be in an environment that is conducive of efforts, understanding and consonance, and thrives on passion, values and integrity. (Disappointingly lacking in the professional world.)So I did something all reasonable (or insane) people do and started my own business, a digital marketing company - Websterfly Solutions.Started almost a year ago, Websterfly's Team have worked with companies across industries like Skincare, E-commerce, Technology, Fashion, Real estate, etc.. across the globe and has brought $8 million USD in revenue to our 100+ clients across the the globe.In the pursuit of building something enormous, my endeavour started with small steps.As a Business Development Associate in an Ed-tech company, I gained experience in deciphering client needs, the art of negotiation and meeting set targets. However once I reached the top of the performance chart, I quit my job to start learning the prerequisites to reach my vision.I worked as Senior Manager at a digital marketing agency where I was again the top performer. This time around however there was more to learn. There were more negative experiences than positive ones but as is the nature of things, it taught me what not to do, gave clarity on what I truly desired and what kind of leader I wanted —no—  needed to be.Being an avid learner, I took a year to extensively learn web design, branding, identity design, storytelling and aspects of performance marketing. I believe all marketing efforts at their core need to be driven by a thorough understanding of consumer psychology. And that is what has steered every target market research, journey map, design or avatar I have ever created, combined with the niche expertise of my team at Websterfly to give guaranteed results. Excited to explore and grow more, work with more like-minded people, also occasionally with people who AREN’T like-minded because conflict can sometimes force the creative juices to flow and give rise to amazingly inventive results (it’s not always harrowing, true story), and of course those who are equally passionate and result oriented.From winning an art competition to my first chess tournament to the attempt at hip hop to the path of building a million dollar company. Everything has been an education.I believe my journey has only begun.
