It starts by exchanging quick pleasantries with the customers. My role is to assist customers in the in-store check-out process. Main duties include bagging items, requesting price checks, honouring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change. I have to maintain receipts, records and withdrawals. Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information and pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.

A perfect medium through which I can guide other students in helping out not only in studies but also through life and difficult times. It is always hard to discuss a horrific event or an unpleasing incident with a completely random stranger but through this organisation, we are actually helping students find out a way that works for them and giving them a sigh of relief. I provide mental and emotional support to the people who really need it and who are struggling. We are here to make the lives of students a pleasant and memorable one.

This project is about engaging additive manufacturing technologies in advanced construction. We will be using an ABB robotic arm that will be programmed to carry out appropriate tasks. A pump will be used to pump the concrete mixture, with variable aggregate sizes and then selecting the one with better results, through the nozzle by directing in different locations by using the ABB Arm to build the concrete structure.I am doing this with Dr Roohollah Kalatehjari, who is an AUT Professor.The actual project outcomes are:• Suitable material selection to achieve a satisfactory mixture for extrusion.• Detailed finalized design appropriate for concrete extrusion.• Appropriate software integration with the ABB robotic arm. • Development of custom-designed pieces that are used with the concrete pump and mixer.

My Role - Responsible for the product appearance in stores in such a way that they are eye catching for the customers ,working closely with the store managers for setting the planograms and making sure the products arrive on time, and with the buyer in order to forecast, plan, and monitor stock levels.Coordinate closely with the team such that high profits are achieved by the company.Skills that I possess :Able to cope with pressure.Team-working.Communication.Interpersonal.Leadership.Numerical and analytical approach.

Making appointments for the company Staircase which is a financial management organisation aiming to help clients to have a stress-free and comfortable retirement. My role is to make appointments with clients, record their personal information, make outbound calls and make sure the right information is sent out to the clients about the services offered by the organisation.Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating the services meeting their needs and how beneficial it is for them.

Work-related to 2019 MBIE Research Programme "Advanced, novel biopotential sensor platform for NZ health-tech companies" in particular, the electrical response of the skin. Focussing mainly in the mechanical background, I am responsible for using modelling software like Solidworks, Exponent to help gain a 3-D view insight into the designs to be used in this project.

Got a wonderful chance to meet and work along with the engineers of ZURU TECH that make all the magic come to real life. Being an intern, I was part of contributing to brainstorming, making 3D models of windows that were required for the construction project, having a clear understanding of the working of windows and how they will be placed in the walls and meeting the deadlines for small tasks allotted to me. The project is making real and customizable buildings according to the needs of every individual by developing an app. So all one has to do is design the house using this app and then wait for the building to be manufactured and shipped to the desired location/site.I was introduced to all the laws and regulations that need to be satisfied with testing and manufacturing along with earthquake requirements.I learnt about the different types of materials used in the construction industry and what caught my eye was AAC(Aerated Autoclaved Concrete). Its properties, mechanical and tensile behaviours, and its anatomy! Overall the experience was really interesting and was glad to be a part of this project.
