Storytelling has been a part of me throughout my life. As much as I love telling stories, I love writing them as well. I started writing at the age of 12 and I never looked back. Reading helped me build one of my core beliefs that is: to be always curious. I believe that curiosity is the way to creativity. In order to further fuel my curiosity, I took part in various extracurricular activities throughout my time at school and during college. One of the most challenging albeit memorable being my 3 years at AIESEC, the world’s largest youth-run organization present in over 120 countries. I was a team member, a team leader, and a vice president of the Talent Management department of AIESEC Surat chapter. It was here I realized my goal of pursuing business studies in order to understand more about management and specialize in the field of marketing. Fast forward to 2017, I left India to pursue a Masters in Management degree at ESCP Europe. In order to pursue my passion for marketing, I took up an internship role at Atos, in Munich, as a part of the Atos - Siemens global alliance team. It was a very versatile role with tasks ranging from business development and data analysis to marketing and sales enablement. This role helped me explore the world of tech marketing and I knew I found my ideal role. After 2 years of studies and a 10-month long internship experience, I completed my management degree while specialising in Product Planning & Marketing Communications at the age of 24. Living in not one, not two, but three different countries over the period of my studies, I got to experience the best Europe had to offer. Currently, I work at Canonical as a Product Marketing Manager driving the GTM strategy of the cloud portfolio of the company. It has been an incredible experience to work with diverse teams, and diverse products where I get to learn not only from the market but also the incredibly intelligent team. The autonomous nature of the role alongside the freedom to choose my own path towards a goal, has helped me take my curiousity to the next level which gets reflected through my work on a daily basis.
