We are currently working in Gujarat state, India. Through our NGO we are teaching self-defense training to girls in various schools, colleges, villages, hostels, and businesses, among other places. We also run awareness program for girls and boys in primary school called ‘Good touch, Bad touch program’, as well as a Health and Nutrition Program, vocational training like tailoring, beauty parlor, and embroidery training for girls and unemployed women to help them have a better future. We also work for the environment and a sustainable future. Recently, we installed rooftop rainwater harvesting systems in government schools to provide drinking water.We have done better work for the future of girls in Gujarat over the last ten years. We have trained over 1.5 lakh girls for self-defense and educated them about good and bad touch in collaboration with government and corporates. We also trained residents of a village near the India-Pakistan border.
