1) Conducting herpetological baseline surveys in various ecosystems within Abu Dhabi Emirate.2) Carried out a comprehensive Chytrid Fungus survey of both native and exotic amphibians of the UAE.3) Conducting wildlife camera trapping surveys across different habitats of Abu Dhabi Emirate.4) Preparing the UAE position on CITES proposals for CoP 12 (Chile 2002), CoP 13 (Thailand 2004), CoP 14 (Netherlands, 2007), CoP 15 (2010) & CoP 16 (2013).5) Preparing UAE CITES related reports as per the CITES Secretariat requirements e.g. Annual Country Reports (from 1999-2012), Biennial Country Report (for 2003-2004; 2005-2006; 2007-2008; 2009-2010; 2011-2012) and other specific reports as requested by CITES Animals and Plants Committee.6) Analysis of wildlife trade data for the preparation of scientific reports e.g. falcons and caviar.7) Prepared a UAE CITES Wildlife Trade Identification Manual which was extensively distributed within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.8) Prepared the Al Watbha Wetland Reserve Field Guide.

1) Wide taxonomic and geographical experience in the technical review of animal and plant re-introduction projects/proposals submitted from various eco-regions of the world.2) Experience in managing an international Secretariat and network of re-introduction practitioners worldwide and maintaining a website: www.iucnsscrsg.org3) Producing the Global Re-introduction Perspective Series - a total of 3 issues in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015 (in press).4) Experience in the development of policy guidelines, fund raising and desk-top publishing.
