Deputy Project Manager
Current- Led a team of 10+ professionals in the successful completion of projects, resulting in 1k+ classes delivered within FY24 and accounting for 45% of all NIH employees in mandatory training and career development.- Monitored project deliverables and progress by using effective communication in providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).- Coordinated various programs that targeted entry, mid, and senior level professionals such as the Emerging Talent Program (ETP), Management Interns (MI), Presidential Fellows Management (PMF), and the Senior Leadership Program (SLP).- Led the development of ETP by solidifying its foundation as a dynamic, new program designed for NIH GS-5-11 employees and equivalents as part of NIH’s mission to drive more engagement at these levels. During its inaugural year, 145+ nominations were received across 27 Institutes and Centers (IC), and 60 participants were placed into two cohorts.- Spearheaded a cross-team initiative to revamp the maintenance of the Workforce Support and Development Division (WSDD)’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment and consistency to effectively support the organization’s overarching objectives.- Led the development, testing, and implementation of the Events Management App, NIHTC’s current system to capture and track workflow information. Within 4 months of its creation, the app was used 300+ times by 24 users.
