Alongside being a full-time mother since January 2013 I have played a crucial role in helping my husband to run his business as a freelance illustrator.Responsibilities include:- Assisting with research and resource collation and processing customer print orders- Stock taking and purchasing- Maintaining day-to-day cash flow- Preparation for year-end tax and quarterly VAT returns

- Liaising with clients and/or stakeholders as well as designers and developers in order to see projects through from inception to completion.- Creating and maintaining timelines and managing costs throughout to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.- Providing extensive QA services where necessary, in order to ensure the highest production standards.- Communicating with external production houses on various interactive and social media projects.The agencies I've worked with include: AllofUs, Energy Saving Trust Limited, Mother London, Special Movies, TAG:, The Team Brand Communications Limited and unit9.At said agencies I have produced work for clients and brands including: Capital & Counties, Nurofen (Reckitt Benckiser), Samsung, Santander, Stella Artois (AB InBev), Telegraph Media Group Limited, Warner Bros. and Westfield Stratford City.

As Assistant Producer at Preloaded I relished the opportunity to work on a number of interesting projects for various clients, seeing them through from inception to completion. On a day to day basis I ensured that the design and development teams had a clear understanding of what was needed from them, as well as the resources they required in order to meet those goals. In parallel with this I liased with the clients regularly, processing any feedback which they wanted to be passed on, and keeping them abreast of project progress as a whole. Alongside my duties as a Assistant Producer I also operated as Preloaded's Studio Manager. This involved a wide range of tasks including:• General administrative and HR duties• Liaising with the landlord about office maintenance.• Invoicing and chasing aged debts• Ensuring that meetings were catered for, and that the studio was presentable to visitors.

In this role I assisted the restructuring of the Major Projects Directorate of the Highways Agency by administering highly confidential tasks, and creating comprehensive and accurate project data records. I also monitored and provided statistical analysis of said records, coordinated interview and sift panels.

This role required sourcing and commissioning scientific authors, tracking project progress, and editorial administration. A further key component was working with the Managing Editor to ensure that projects were driven forward to completion, and therefore close liaison with and chasing of the relevant contributors and account representatives was imperative. Other responsibilities included arranging payment of honorariums upon project completion, typesetting of articles with Quark Express, and producing diagrams using Adobe Illustrator.

Duties were as above, but main responsibilities were commissioning and typesetting, sub-editing and proof reading articles.
