🌱 Hey! My name is Priya Balasubramanian (she/her/hers). 📚 I graduated in Fall 2020 from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Psychology and a focus in Workforce Diversity Research. I'm currently the CTE Dual Enrollment Linked Learning Coordinator at LAUSD.💼 My journey to LAUSD has been a full-circle moment from being a LAUSD student during my formative years to now being a full-time staff member in Fall 2023 and counting. At LAUSD, I act as a liaison between LA Community Colleges and the many schools we service with their dual enrollment programs. 🗺 Prior to LAUSD, I had the opportunity to bounce around between diverse roles learning how to negotiate contracts with clients, operationalize crowd management, coach and train students from underserved communities, and provide administrative support to faculty. Needless to say, these opportunities have helped me approach every venture personal or professional with a versatile viewpoint!!🛩 The future for me lies in the empowerment of diverse communities and people from all walks of life! I hope to become an inclusive leader and an advocate for minority women and early career professionals when pertaining to their seats in society.
