As an intern, I successfully executed a comprehensive security audit for one of India's largest private banks, improving compliance standards and fortifying systems against vulnerabilities. Leveraging SIEM tools like AlienVault and Splunk, I monitored real-time threats, enabling rapid identification of suspicious activities and strengthening security frameworks. I conducted practical phishing analysis, gaining insights into common attack techniques and refining response strategies to minimize the risk of such threats. Additionally, I studied the Cyber Kill Chain framework to enhance my understanding of attack stages and defense mechanisms. I also contributed to digital forensics by employing Autopsy to analyze digital evidence, improving investigative accuracy. These experiences allowed me to build a strong foundation in information security, ensuring risk mitigation and secure operations.

During this internship, I honed my skills in ethical hacking techniques, performing penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify critical system vulnerabilities. Proficient in password-cracking methodologies, I utilized tools to evaluate authentication weaknesses effectively.I also gained hands-on experience in creating detailed Proof of Concept (POC) reports, clearly articulating findings to stakeholders. These opportunities enabled me to develop a keen understanding of proactive defense strategies and ethical hacking principles, fostering a commitment to strengthening digital infrastructures.
