I interviewed and made documentaries on women from deprived communities in India to help create a public archive of oral history data. I received extensive training on gender and postcolonial intersectional frameworks, ethical research, approaches on reflexivity and cultural relativism, digital content writing and editing, social media publishing.

As the Vice president of the society, I work closely with the President to coordinate, develop and support cultural arts events at the University. Together with the running of weekly dance and music classes, we have put together a grant show called 'SPRING SANGEETH 2018' during the Trinity Term at Oxford with amazing success. I am also responsible in allocating budgets and working with the team towards increasing membership and retention within the society.

As a student BAME welfare officer in the Graduate Executive Committee, my focus is to raise awareness regarding racial equality and opportunity in the college campus to create a positive student-centered environment. I have also been advising and acting as the first point of contact for students where concerns about racial welfare, poor practice or abuse are identified.
