Apart from guiding, and mentoring, students, my key responsibilities have been:1. Member Convener for the Board of Studies (Computer Science & Allied ) for last three years. TheBoard of Studies is a statutory body that develops a curriculum for the students of various degreeprograms. The computer science board develops the curriculum for six undergraduate and onegraduate-level program.2. Single Point of Contact for Smart India Hackathon: successfully organized a grand finale of SIH 2022at Sahyadri. The hackathon is conducted by AICTE at 75 centers. I took the responsibility to managethe hackathon attended by over 300 participants. In addition to this, I have also conducted two intracollege hackathons under the Smart India Hackathon banner.3. Organised national level conference in 2022 at Sahyadri4. Technical program committee member and publication chair for IEEE DISCOVER 2023. Thisconference is a flagship event organized annually by IEEE Mangalore Subsection5. Currently applied for three Indian patents.6. Manage professional bodies for the students of the entire institute and keep track of student andfaculty related activites under the professional body

My research mainly focused on time frequency analysis of different signals in transform domain. This included transform techniques like Fourier transform, Wavelet Transform, STFT, S-Transform. Using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, I have analyzed different time series data and Images. I have also explored the concept of transform based coherence for various time series data. My research also included the study on the applications of S-transform for speckle reduction of different bands of SAR images. EEG signals, wind speed, audio signals were few of the signal applications that I have worked with during the period.In addition to carrying out research, I have been an instructor in laboratories, and assisted guideduring examinations. The department would also involve us in various exam-related activities.I have also been a part of the application verification team for NIT MCA Common Entrance Test. Thisis a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission to their Master of Computer Applicationsprogramme.

I acted as a department head in the Department of Electronics and Communications. I have carried outday-to-day department activities, staff and student management, setting up of laboratory facilities for thedepartment and procuring new equipment for newly designed laboratories.
